House of Lukas & Frank: Building a Global Platform for Electronic Music

The electronic music industry continues to expand beyond traditional releases and performances, with artists increasingly creating their own platforms to shape how audiences experience music and connect with one another. Lukas & Frank are taking that approach through House of Lukas & Frank (HOLF), an international event concept that combines their work as performers with a broader vision for live electronic music.

Recognized for their distinctive combination of live saxophone, live cello, and Afro House, Lukas & Frank created HOLF to offer audiences an experience that goes beyond a conventional club night. Each edition brings together curated electronic music, live instrumentation, selected artists, and carefully developed production to create an environment centered around music, performance, and community.

HOLF has already expanded across several major European cities, with seven editions held in London, Paris, Berlin, Istanbul, Düsseldorf, Frankfurt, and Sofia. Approximately 5,000 people have attended the events to date, while five of the seven editions have sold out. The results have helped establish HOLF as a growing international concept with an audience spanning multiple markets.

Behind the scenes, Lukas & Frank remain closely involved in the development of each event. The duo takes responsibility for artist programming, musical direction, branding, production, marketing, and the overall audience experience, while also guiding the long-term direction of the platform. Their involvement on both the creative and business sides of HOLF has allowed the concept to develop an identity of its own alongside their careers as artists.

“HOLF has always been about creating something bigger than ourselves,” Lukas & Frank explain. “Our goal is to create a platform where people discover incredible music, experience live musicianship in a new way, and connect through a shared love of house music. Every city brings a different energy, and we’re excited to continue growing that community around the world.”

The growth of HOLF coincides with significant momentum for Lukas & Frank as a duo. Since forming in 2024, they have attracted more than 240,000 followers across social media, surpassed one million YouTube views, and reached more than 1.2 million monthly listeners on Spotify. Tracks including “Back To Black” and “Promiscuous” have secured Beatport chart placements, appeared on Spotify’s Viral Top 50, and received support from prominent names within the international Afro House scene.

A defining part of their approach is the integration of live instrumentation into electronic music. By incorporating saxophone and cello into Afro House and Melodic House sets, Lukas & Frank bring elements of traditional musicianship into contemporary dance music environments. This combination has become an important part of their identity, offering audiences a performance format that balances live musicianship with the energy of electronic production.

That same emphasis on collaboration carries into HOLF. The platform provides a setting for different artists, venues, promoters, and audiences to come together through carefully selected lineups and shared musical experiences. As the event series has moved between cities, it has also allowed Lukas & Frank to build connections with electronic music communities throughout Europe while introducing HOLF to new audiences.

Following seven editions, the next chapter of House of Lukas & Frank will see the platform continue its international expansion with upcoming events confirmed for New York, London, Berlin, Sofia, and Frankfurt. New York will mark an important development for the concept as HOLF moves beyond its established European presence and into the U.S. market.

With new music, international performances, and further HOLF editions ahead, Lukas & Frank are continuing to develop both sides of their creative work simultaneously. What began as an event concept has grown into an international platform that reflects their broader approach to electronic music: combining performance, live musicianship, collaboration, and community while continuing to reach audiences in new markets.
