For a club set that favours weight over rush, I Am Me’s remix of Billy O’s Stormcaller offers a deep, bass-heavy option. It’s a compelling counterpart to the earthy character of the original.
There’s a grounded mood to Stormcaller’s downtempo sound, with its primitive feel setting the tone for Billy O’s original mix. I Am Me’s version keeps the focus on depth and bass, offering another way into the track rather than an unrelated departure. The contrast makes for a concise pairing: the original’s earthy downtempo on one side, the remix’s heavier low-end emphasis on the other. Stormcaller is a Billy O release on Killer Mushrooms.
