Jason Kushy marks his latest step forward in electronic music with the release of Side Effects, a two-track tech house EP available today, November 6, 2026, through OMNIX Records, under exclusive license to Universal Music Ltda.

The EP brings together “No Distractions” and “Veneno,” two tracks built for the club while retaining the melodic accessibility that has become part of Kushy’s developing sound. Across the release, the California-based artist continues exploring the space between DJ-driven energy and memorable electronic songwriting.
Side Effects follows Kushy’s Keep It Moving EP on Direct Action Records, which reached No. 18 on Beatport’s Tech House Top 100 Releases chart. His original release catalog began in 2025, and he has since surpassed one million Spotify streams, reached more than 120,000 monthly listeners and connected with over 450,000 unique listeners during the past 12 months.
Now based in Monterey, California, and raised in Pennsylvania’s Lehigh Valley, Kushy began teaching himself to DJ at approximately 11 years old with an $80 mixer in his parents’ basement. By eighth grade, he had launched his own DJ business, later performing at weddings, proms and parties. Those early experiences shaped his ability to read a room and create a direct connection with an audience.
His music has received support from Louis The Child, SIDEPIECE, Jauz, Wolfgang Gartner, Bingo Players and San Holo, with repost support from Dim Mak, Insomniac Records, Barong Family and Space Yacht. His catalog also includes “Gave It My All,” “I’m Okay” and “Close the Door,” plus remixes of artists including Fleetwood Mac, Pet Shop Boys and Sean Paul.
Through Stay Kushy, he combines music, minimalist artwork, exclusive live edits and custom visuals influenced by games, animation and pop culture.
