“I wrote Solar Waves while recovering from a major surgery last summer, during a season when I felt incredibly lost musically,” HALIENE shares. “I couldn’t sing the way I normally do because my body was still healing, so I recorded the demo softly and breathily. What began as a limitation ended up giving the song an intimacy we fell in love with. At a time when I felt disconnected from my voice, writing this record brought my joy back and reminded me that creativity always finds another path.”
Following closely on the heels of Eclipsed By You, Solar Waves becomes HALIENE’s second release in just two months—a testament to her creative resurgence and artistic momentum. The track is available now on all major streaming platforms via Black Hole Recordings.
