Produced with Dor Daniel, the 10-song album will be preceded by three planned singles, with the first currently targeted for February 2027.
TOMER is preparing to release North, a 10-song album developed over two years with producer Dor Daniel. Scheduled for 2027, the project follows his debut EP, Foretold, and brings together material selected from hundreds of songs written after temporarily relocating to Los Angeles.
Released in 2023, the seven-song Foretold introduced TOMER’s songwriting through his first collection of recorded work. Around that release, he performed in Tel Aviv, Kyiv, and Los Angeles, with appearances at Tmuna Club, Bel Etage, The Viper Room, and The Mint. A standalone single followed later that year.
Since then, TOMER has focused on writing, composing, producing, and recording the material that would become North. Although he has not released new music since 2023, the intervening period has been an active stage of development for the album.
From Hundreds of Songs to Ten
After temporarily relocating to Los Angeles, TOMER wrote hundreds of songs before narrowing the material to a few dozen and bringing that selection to Dor Daniel. Their collaboration developed over the following two years, with ten songs ultimately forming the album.
The recording process centered on live instrumentation, including drums, bass, and guitars. Working through the songs in the studio gave TOMER and Daniel time to develop the arrangements and performances that make up the finished project.
North marks TOMER’s move from his debut EP to a full-length album, bringing an extended period of songwriting and studio work into one ten-track release.
Singles and Music Videos Ahead of the Album
Three singles are planned ahead of North: “You Deserve Better,” “Half A Broken Heart,” and “Billionaire.” Music-video shoots are also planned, with the first single currently targeted for February 2027. Exact release dates and the order of the singles have not yet been confirmed.
A tour is planned following the album’s release, tentatively for summer 2027. Dates and locations remain to be announced.
With North, TOMER is preparing to share the results of two years of focused recording and a writing process that began with hundreds of possibilities. The forthcoming singles will offer the first look at that work ahead of the full album’s arrival in 2027.
